Earlier today Fox and Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy announced the dates of the “Glee Live! In Concert!” that will take place in North America. The tour will include: Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany) and Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike). Joining them will be Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine) who weren’t on last year’s tour.
This unique concert experience will include live performances of the show’s most memorable musical numbers (from season 1 and 2) like: Empire State of Mind, Toxic, My Life will Suck without You, and of course the song that started it all… Don’t Stop Believin’.
The tour will begin Friday, May 21 at the Mandalay Bay Event Concert in Las Vegas and will go through various cities around the US including a show in Toronto, Canada before stopping in New York. And after their North American tour they will head overseas to Europe for another round of shows (‘Glee’ Tour goes to Europe).
Tickets go on sale (for most shows) to the general public on Friday, Feb 18. But if you are an American Express cardholder there is an exclusive presale beginning Friday, Feb 11. Tickets will be available at www.ticketmaster.com. Also I Love All Access is providing a variety of fan packages for the shows that include premium seats, parties, meet and greet and more. For more information go to www.gleetour.com.

Her rep revealed exclusively to Celebuzz.com that she will join the rest of the cast for their 16 city tour. “She is beyond excited to be included on tour. This is wonderful news to all gleeks out there to share an amazing time with their favorite gleeclub. It is great that they are going through more cities this time so that more fans can enjoy the show.
However on a personal note, even though I enjoy the idea of the tour (as I am sure many fans do) I also wish that the cast (gleeclub members) will be given more free time during Glee hiatus. There should be some balance. It seems that they barely have any free time during the spring/summer to do other work, rest, have a vacation, etc. I know they have a commitment to Glee however I wish they had the same freedom and time to do other proyects like Matthew Morrison is given.
Anyway, the best of luck to all the Glee cast on the tour and thank you for all your hard work (all the fans really appreciate it). And to all the Glee fans going to the concerts… have a wonderful time! (and if you don’t mind share your experiences with us).
