´Gleekly´Dose – News from Dec 13th until Dec 17th

Even though Glee is still on hiatus (we have to wait until Feb for the post superbowl episode) there are a lot of news related to the show: award nominations, appearances at events, etc…

So here we have another Gleekly Dose for you of Glee´s latest news. Take a look inside this post and find out the latest on your favorite glee club.

Dec. 17th:

• Cory Monteith´s new band, Bonnie Dune, will perform their first show on January 9th at the Roxy in LA. You can hear two of their tracks from their debut album at their Facebook page (Sea Sick and Haunting) also you can hear Better View up on Myspace. Source

• Glee Season 2 Volume 1 will be release on January 25th, 2011. Special Features include: Glee Music Jukebox, Getting Waxed With Jane Lynch, Sue´s Quips and Glee at Comic-Con 2010. More details here

• I haven´t seen this video before so I decided to post it. It´s Glee Gives Back: Education Through Music.

• Glee is realeasing a new cd exclusive by Target. It is called Glee: The Music, The Love Songs. However if you own the previous albums and will buy the other Glee albums you might want to reconsider purchasing this one because it includes songs that are feature in other Glee albums (Hello, I Love You; The Boys is Mine, Dream a Little Dream, Tell Me Something Good, Don´t Go Breaking My Heart, What I did For Love). • Heather Morris is the new spokeswoman for Flirt Cosmetics. She is the newest spokesperson for Flirt, a division of Estee Lauder Comany Inc.´s BeautyBanck division. Morris’ will begin her duties by promoting the brand’s new mascara, All That Lash, in February and a new Flirt scent, Luv-a-Licious, set for an April release. Morris is in great company, as former spokeswomen for Flirt include Mila Kunis, Serena Williams and Vanessa Minnillo. Source

• Glee nominated for SAG Awards! Chris Colfer is up for Actor in a Comedy Series, Jane Lynch for Actress in a Comedy Series and the whole cast is up for the Comedy Ensemble award.

• Glee on Facebook celebrates its 10 million fans! As a thank you to the fans the cast answers some fan questions. Fans Ask Glee!

Dec. 15th:

• Jane Lynch is heading to The Simpsons. She will guest as Homer´s work rival. Source

• Matthew Morrison will tour this Spring during the Glee hiatus. His album is just about finished and it will be realease in May. Source
