  • How I Met Your Mother producers have found a new girlfriend for Barney. gly Betty scene-stealer Becki Newton is joining the CBS sitcom as a potential love interest for Neil Patrick Harris. Newton will recur throughout the show’s current seventh season, with her first episode slated to air in January. Source
  • Comedy Central has renewed South Park for three more seasons. Source
  • NBC’s freshman thriller Grimm has cast Angel and Dollhouse alum Amy Acker as the fearsome Black Widow. Source
  • CBS has ordered two more cycles (No. 25 and 26) of its long-running reality franchise Survivor to air during the 2012-13 season. Source
  • Ashley Greene (Alice from the Twilight franchise) has booked a three-episode arc on ABC’s period drama Pan Am. She’ll play a debutante with a past connection to Ted (Michael Mosley). She’ll appear in the episode titled “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” that’ll air Dec. 4. Source
