  • Boston Legal alum Mark Valley is returning to David E. Kelley’s courtroom, as a new series regular on Harry’s Law. He wil play Oliver Richard, one of two new attorneys joining Harriett Korn’s law firm this fall. Also, Emmy-winning 24 alum Jean Smart has been booked for a three-episode arc as Roseanna Remmick, the D.A. prosecuting the high-profile murder trial featuring guest star Alfred Molina (Law & Order: LA) as the accused aka Harry’s client.   • 7th Heaven‘s David Gallagher will appear on the first two episodes of the CW hit Vampire Dairies’s new season, playing werewolf Ray Sutton, he will have a grim run-in (a howlingly bad time?) with Klaus in Tennessee. Source
  • Jennifer Finnigan (Close To Home, Better With You) recently cast as the female lead for USA Network’s new pilot Wild Card, will guest star on Psych. In a Season 6 episode titled “Neal Simon’s Lovers Retreat,” Finnigan will play Barbie, a comely con woman whose partner in crime is no less than Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills 90210). Barbie and Clive set their scamming sights on a spa resort — the same one where Shawn and Juliet are enjoying a weekend getaway. Source
  • Dylan Baker, who recently appeared on the cabler’s Burn Notice, will guest star on White Collar. He will play Andy Woods, a ruthless financier with ties to a drug cartel who is suspected of embezzling from his daughter’s elite private school. Source
  • ABC Family has renewed its original comedy Melissa & Joey for a second season, the network announced today. The series starring Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence is wrapping its first season to air throughout the summer and fall and will return for its second season in 2012. Source
