  • John Goodman has joined the cast of Roseanne Barr’s new NBC pilot Downwardly Mobile. Written and executive-produced by Barr, the pilot will bring the Roseanne star back to series television as the proprietor of a mobile home park and surrogate mother to all the characters who live there. Goodman, whose recent credits include Damages, Treme and Community, will play the resident handyman on the property. Source
  • Bradley Whitford, who played Josh Lyman on “The West Wing,” will play the departing Pawnee city councilman whose seat Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Bobby Newport (Paul Rudd) are running for, on NBC’s Parks and Recreation. Source
  • Sanaa Lathan and Glee guest star Jonathan Groff have landed new regular roles on the second season of Starz’s drama series Boss. Source
  • Scrubs alumna Sarah Chalke has landed the lead in How to Live With Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life, a keyboard-exhausting comedy pilot being developed for ABC. Source
