FOX just announced today that they are taking their ‘Glee’ tour overseas next year… so european ‘gleeks’ get ready to sing with your favorite glee club live in mid next year (the european engagements will be in London, Dublin and Manchester in June and July).
This are the dates for the Glee Live In Concert! 2011:
June 22 Manchester, England MEN Arena
June 25 London, England O2 Arena
June 26 London, England O2 Arena
July 2 Dublin, Ireland O2 Arena
July3 Dublin, Ireland O2 Arena
But don’t expect the same live tour they did this past summer in the US, this new tour will include the classic favorites like ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ and also this season top hits like ‘Toxic’, ‘Empire State of Mind’ and ‘Teenage Dream’ among others.According to reports the tour will include the eleven original glee club members: Rachel (Lea Michele), Finn (Cory Monteith), Kurt (Chris Colfer), Quinn (Dianna Agron), Artie (Kevin McHale), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Mercedes (Amber Riley), Puck (Mark Salling), Santana (Naya Rivera), Brittany (Heather Morris) and Mike (Harry Shum Jr). They will be join by season’s 2 recurring characters Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Blaine (Darren Criss).
And as the ‘Glee’ boss says the tour will be adding some more dates (probably only in the US)… so we’ll just have to wait for the news to come really soon. “We had such a great time putting together last year’s shows and the response from the fans was incredible,” says the show creator Ryan Murphy . “People around the world want to see our cast live and in person, so this European tour is our way of thanking them for the unbelievable way they’ve embraced our little show. And for everyone in America who has asked if we’ll be back to a city near them this summer, stay tuned. We’ll have some exciting news very soon.”
