Last year’s winner Kyra Sedgwick for The Closer was snubbed, so expect a new winner in this category.
Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss submitted the episode “The Suitcase” which is probably a two characters episode tape featuring lot of screen time for her character Peggy and Jon Hamm’s Don Draper.
The Good Wife’s Julianna Margulies is the favorite to take the award. She submitted the episode where her character Alicia confronts her husband who slept with her best friend. It is a really emotional episode that features a dramatic moment where she tells her kids that she’s separating from their father.
However, Kathy Bates for Harry’s Law can be a surprise winner. The Oscar winner is part of a David E. Kelley show, plus it shows her character in very sympathetic way where she tries to help free man from jail.
