This category is Steve Carell’s to win or lose. It is his last chance to win an Emmy for The Office. His performance was comedic and heartfelt in his goodbye episode.
Other previous winners that are nominated again include 30 Rock’s Alec Baldwin and last year’s winner Jim Parson for The Big Bang Theory, the latter who probably has the biggest chance to win after Steve Carell.
Matt LeBlanc, who is nominated for Episodes as himself, is a previous nominee for his role on Friends. Louis C. K., a standup comedian, writer, and producer for his show Louie, could be a surprise winner giving a quite performance where he faces a bully during a date and tries to confront him later. Joining his co-star for the first time, is Johnny Galecki for The Big Bang Theory. Previously being part of the cast of Roseanne in his teenage years, he plays Leornard, whos is not as eccentric character as his co-star’s Sheldon Cooper.
